Obituary of Eileen Duddy
DUDDY: Eileen (nee Muckle) -
A resident of Chatham, Eileen Duddy passed away at Riverview Gardens on Monday, February 25, 2019 at the age of 92.
Born in Harwich Township, Eileen was the daughter of the late Herb and Ethel (Springsteen) Muckle.
Beloved wife of 68 years to Al Duddy.
Loving mother of David Duddy (Janet) of Comex, B.C., Susan Roberton (Jeff Dyet) of Toronto and Lisa Wigle (Scott) of Delaware.
Proud grandmother of Adam Duddy (Kalie), Noah Duddy; Spencer Roberton, Jack Roberton; Jennifer Hentz (Andrew), Megan Wigle and Stefanie Wigle.
Proud great-grandmother of Emmerich and Hannah.
Predeceased by her brothers Harold (late Dorothy), Lloyd (Doreen) and Glen (late Erva).
Also missed by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Eileen was a Registered Nurse, having graduated from the Public General Hospital School of Nursing in 1947. She had also worked with her husband Al as co-owner of the Peter Pam Shop for 10 years. Eileen and Al shared a common love for golf, which they enjoyed for many years.
Special thanks to the staff of Riverview Gardens 4th Floor West for their exceptional care.
As per Eileen's wishes, cremation has taken place with a private family interment to be held at a later date.
Donations made in memory of Eileen to the Parkinson Society would be appreciated.
