Obituary of Margaret Tewkesbury
Tewkesbury, Margaret (nee Hall) - passed away on Friday April 26, 2019 at Riverview Gardens, Chatham, at the age of 95.
Born in Chatham, daughter of the late John and Irene (nee McDonell) Hall. Beloved wife of the late Jack Tewkesbury, late 2007, married for 65 years (and they said it wouldn’t last). Survived by her brother Wayne (Anne) Hall, devoted sons Dale (Marsha) Tewkesbury and David (Elaine) Tewkesbury, all of Chatham. Grandmother of Todd (Tina), Jay (Janice), Peter, Paul (Nicole), Jarrod (Kyla), Jeffrey (Sarah).
Will also be missed by her great-grandchildren Jake, Ben, Evan, Owen, Kole, Jen, Ava, Megan, and Rachel.
Will also be missed by her special nieces Deryl, Marsha, Andrea, Lisa and Joanne.
Predeceased by brothers David Hall, Mac Hall and by her sister-in-law and special friend Amber Hall, and sister-in-law Marg (Bill) Kennedy.
Marg worked for Union Gas in Chatham. She was a member of Sprucedale United Church and actively participated in 3 C’s. She volunteered for many years also with Outreach for Hunger.
Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
