Obituary of Keith Kirby

Kirby, Keith Douglas, a resident of Chatham, formerly of Fletcher, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Hospice, on Sunday May 5, 2019, age 70.

Born in Chatham son of the late Jim and Blanche (Riddell) Kirby.

Also survived by his Uncle Jim (Nola) Riddell of Chatham.

Keith will be missed by his many friends and cousins.

Special thanks to great friends Bill and Theresa Lindsay, Keith and Maureen Chandler, and Paul and Judy Chandler for their care and support.

For all the family and friends who visited and sent cards, thank you, Keith enjoyed them all. He loved to play ball, hockey and golf. He enjoyed the last few Leaf’s and Jay’s games with Bill. The staff at CKHA and CK Hospice gave Keith wonderful care for the past five months.

A Graveside Service will be held at the Stewart Cemetery, 4789 Middle Line, Merlin, on Saturday May 18, 2019 at 2pm where Keith’s cremains will be interred with his parents. A time of remembrance will follow at the Sons of Kent, 27 Adelaide St. South, Chatham.
