Obituary of Paul Raymond

Raymond, Paul - 

Paul passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, May 24, 2019 at the CKHA-Chatham Campus at the age of 95.

Paul worked at King Grain for 45 years. He loved vegetable gardening, playing cards and spending time with his family. After retirement, at the age of 63, he found the game of golf which he thoroughly enjoyed.

Paul was born in Saint-Pascal-de-Kamouraska, Quebec and was the son of the late Joseph and Marie-Anne (Lebrun) Raymond.

Beloved husband of Marie (Lefaive) Raymond and the late Laurette (Thibodeau) Raymond (1989).

Loving father of Marc and Mary, Rosaire and Jeannette, Jean-Paul, Gilles and Louise, Anne-Marie and Tom Bechard and Monique and Roger Bourassa.

Sadly missed by grandchildren, Jacqueline (Luc), Lisa (Dan), Andrew (Kristina), Michelle (Dennis), Lyne (Jeff), Monique (Ed), Jilliane (Anthony), Julie (Rick), Jerome (Karen), Paul (Jessica), Dan (Caroline), Natalie, Joel and Colette (Mike), 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.

Dear brother of Marcel (Louisette) and predeceased by 4 sisters and 7 brothers.

Also surviving are his step-children, Marcel and Carol, Paul (1996) and Donna, Ron, Gerry (2002) and Anne Marie and Elaine and David Morrison, 11 step-grandchildren and 15 step great-grandchildren.

Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive family and friends at Immaculee Conception Catholic Church, Pain Court on Monday, May 27, 2019 at 10:00, with Mass to follow at 11:00.

Interment will be held at Immaculee Conception Cemetery.
