Obituary of Ralph Tong
A resident of Cedar Springs, Ralph Tong passed away with family at his side at Riverview Gardens on June 21, 2019 at the age of 86.
Born in Ingersoll, Ralph was the son of the late Joseph and Rosetta (Rowe) Tong.
Beloved husband of 46 years to the late Madeline (nee Parmentier) (2001).
Dearly missed by his children, Doug (Janet) Tong of Blenheim, David Tong of Cedar Springs, Deborah (Ronald) Vaughan of Blenheim, Diane (Bill) Reaume, and the late Wayne Tong.
Loving Grandpa to Joe (Sharon) Tong, Shae-Lynn (Mike) Vriesema, Shantel (Ken) Cardoso, and Ron (Gabriela) Vaughan.
Special Great Grandfather to Ashton and Nickolas Tong, EmeliaVriesema, and Adelena and Dahlia Cardoso.
Dear brother to John Tong, and predeceased by Bill Tong, Tom Tong and Mildred Pels.
Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Ralph was commonly seen walking everyday around Cedar Springs and he also enjoyed biking and gardening.
Visitation will take place on Monday June 24 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 7:00pm - 9:00pm at McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park St. Blenheim.
A Funeral Service will take place Tuesday June 25 at 11:00am at the Funeral Home with Rev. Wanda Burse officiating.
Interment to take place following the service at Evergreen Cemetery in Blenheim.
Donations made in memory of Ralph to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent would be appreciated.
