Obituary of W. Arland Fraser

FRASER: William Arland "Arny" -

A lifelong resident of Ridgetown, Arny Fraser passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus with family at his side on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at the age of 70.

Born in Chatham, Arland was the son of the late William and L. Jean (Cantlay) Fraser.

Beloved husband of 39 years to April (nee Ardis).

Loving father of Tim Fraser (Sue) of Chatham, Shelly Fraser of Bothwell, Billy Fraser (Christine) of Thamesville, Marty Fraser (Sandy) of Bothwell, Chad Fraser of Blenheim and Dustin Fraser of Ridgetown.

Proud Papa of Kayla, Cassidy, Bryce; Kyle, Ryan, Kaitlyn; Myles, Morgan; Dio, Falcon and Orion.

Great-grandfather to Philip, Kayson, Oaklynn; Blayke; Ashton, Hailey and Benjamin.

Brother of Charles Fraser of Bothwell, John Fraser (Esther) of Ridgetown, Roger Fraser (Betty) of Ridgetown, the late Wilbert Fraser (Judy) of Blenheim, the late Dorothy Coppé (late Joanne) and the late Roy Fraser. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

Arland retired from Fabco after over 20 years of service. He enjoyed playing Men's fastball and tinkering with small engines. Arland enjoyed spending time with family and friends and cheering on the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Sunday, June 30, 2019 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Cremation to follow with a private family interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown at a later date.

Donations made in memory of Arny to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
