Obituary of Marvin Carter

CARTER: Marvin Clare -

A resident of R.R. # 1, Ridgetown, Marvin Carter passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the age of 80.

Born in Windsor, Marvin was the son of the late Robert (1995) and Emma (Hill) Carter (2001).

Dear brother to Jim Carter (Margaret) of Ridgetown, Ron Carter of R.R. # 1 Ridgetown, Vern Carter (late Germaine) of Tecumseh, the late Gary Carter, Laurine Archibald (Tom) of Ridgetown and Brenda Pumfrey (late Jim) of Thamesville.

Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

Marvin farmed his entire life on the family farm. He enjoyed photography and rides out to the lake.

Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Sunday, August 18, 2019 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Parish Prayers will be held at 8:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 26 George Street, Ridgetown at 11:00 am on Monday, August 19, 2019. Interment at St. Michael's Cemetery.

Donations made in memory of Marvin to St. Michael's Church Restoration Fund would be appreciated.
