Obituary of Bonnie Neaves

Neaves, Bonnie --
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of our hero Bonnie Jean Neaves of Chatham at the age of 68.  

She lost her courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, August 18th, 2019, at Chatham-Kent Hospice, in the presence of her loved ones.  Cherished wife and soul mate of Larry Neaves for 50 loving years.  Loved mother of Larry Neaves Jr. (Jen), Jean Mitchell (Reed), and Amy Mulcahy (Ken).  Dearest daughter to Sylvia, and the late John E. Leeson and the late Arthur and Verna Neaves; sister to John W. Leeson (Lucy) and Carol Neaves.  Much loved grandmother of Brandon Neaves (Shannon), Erin Barnes, Katelynn Mulcahy, Megan VanVeen, Matthew VanVeen, and Lawson Neaves and treasured godmother to Jesse McGinnis (Andrew).

Bonnie was a member Holy Trinity St. Paul’s Anglican Church, and worked for many years at the Lambton-Kent District School Board.

Resting at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham where visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 from 3:00 - 5:00pm and 7:00 - 9:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held on August 22 at 1:00pm. Donations made in memory of Bonnie may be made to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation.
