O'Neil, Joyce Irene (nee Northcott)
Joyce passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the CKHA-Chatham Campus in her 65th year.
She was the daughter of the late Ivan Northcott and the late Donna (Leigh Blonde).
Beloved wife of 40 years to Patrick O'Neil.
Loving mother of Edward O'Neil (Sarah Miles) and Peter O'Neil (Reanne O'Neil).
Cherished Grandma of Rebecca, Jason, Andrew and Ivan O'Neil.
Remembered always by her two sisters, Judy Gelinas (Dan Jones) and Cathy Bathurst (Bob Bathurst).
Missed by many nieces and nephews.
Dear sister-in-law of Betty and Steve Toplack, Rose and Ron Scott, Maureen O'Neil, Bernie and Brenda O'Neil, Agnes and George Dickenson, Joanne and Mike Buis, Pauline and Mike Currie, Dan and Simone O’Neil, Kathleen and Steve McLean, Tim O'Neil, Christine and Ian Dent and the late Mary Libbrecht.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON, on Monday, September 30, 2019 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
The Funeral Service will take place at the McKinlay Funeral Home, on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Jim Kettle officiating.
Burial to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
In memory of Joyce, donations may be made to the LHSC - Cancer Centre or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
