Obituary of Shirley Anne Walker
A resident of Chatham, Shirley Walker passed away at the Meadow Park Nursing Home on November 24, 2019 at the age of 83.
Born in London Ontario, Shirley was the daughter of the late Andrew and Marion (Mousseau) Morrissey.
Beloved wife of 60 years to Robert 'Bob' Walker.
Loving mother to Wendy Walker and Craig Walker both of Chatham.
Dear sister to Cathy (late William) Reaume of Pain Court, Patricia (late Stafford) Kelley of Oakville, and Paul Morrissey of Windsor. Sister in law to Jean Morrissey (late Thomas).
Shirley was a loving and devoted wife and mother and enjoyed her cats and cooking. She was a former IODE member and a dedicated volunteer at the Salvation Army Thrift Store.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday December 7, 2019 at 11:00am at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St. in Chatham with Deacon Raymond Girard officiating.
Donations made in memory of Shirley to the Community Living of Chatham Kent and the Salvation Army of Chatham-Kent would be appreciated.
