Gardiner: Gladys Mae (Drury) -
A resident of Chatham, Gladys Gardiner passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on November 28, 2019 at the age of 98.
Born in Harwich Township, Gladys was the daughter of the late Harry and Lena (Parrott) Drury.
Beloved wife of 48 years to the late Percy Gardiner (1985).
Loving mother to Donna (late Bruce) Richardson, Ruth (late Ron) Francis, and Wayne Gardiner all of Chatham, and predeceased by children Jim, Bob, Bill, and Darlene Gardiner.
Sadly missed by daughter-in-laws, Cheryl Gardiner, Sandra Gardiner, and Joyce Gardiner.
Loving grandmother to 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Predeceased by brother Raymond Drury, Harold Drury, and sister Grace Drury.
Gladys will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Gladys was known for her extreme love towards all her family. She truly enjoyed her visits with her grandchildren and spending time with everyone in her kind gentle way.
Visitation will take place on Sunday December 1, 2019 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 7:00pm - 9:00pm at McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park St. Blenheim, ON, with the funeral service held on December 2 at 11:00am with Rev. Eric Revie officiating.
Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery following the service.
Donations made in memory of Gladys to the Chatham Kent Hospice Foundation or a Charity of Choice would be appreciated.
