Fisher, Erwin Arthur "Hob"
Erwin passed away peacefully at Copper Terrace Nursing Home on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at the age of 93.
Erwin was born in Tilbury East Township on September 3, 1926 and was the son of the late Arthur and Ellen (Telfer) Fisher.
Beloved husband of the late Violet (Hyatt) Fisher (1986) and Eleanor (Brush) Fisher (2014).
Loving father of Dale and his wife, Dana Fisher of Burlington and the late Cathy McFadden (2012) and her husband, Lonnie of Chatham and step-father of Jane and the late Richard Rumble, Judith and Lynn Girty and Curtis Crewe.
Sadly missed by grandchildren, Christy (McFadden) Hobley, Nicky (McFadden) and Shawn Falconer, Candice Fisher and Kyle Fisher, step-grandchildren, Darby Wood and Dempsey Wood.
Special great-grandpa of Brianna Falconer, Paige Hobley and Drew Hobley.
Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
Predeceased by his sister, Olive (Robert) Coatsworth and his brother, Lyle (Doreen) Fisher.
Cremation has taken place.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON from 6-9 pm.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 13, 2019 at the McKinlay Funeral Home at 11 a.m., with Pastor Eric Skillings, officiating.
Interment will be held in Shanks Cemetery, Romney Township.
Donations in memory of Erwin to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
