A resident of Charing Cross area, Dick passed away at the London Health Sciences Centre - University Hospital on December 10, 2019 at the age of 77.
Born in Chatham, Dick was the son of the late William and Mary (Russell) Foster.
Beloved husband of 56 years to the late Joan (nee Wilson) Foster (2017).
Loving father to, Linda (Richard) Bonner of Charing Cross, Laura Foster (David Tompkins) of Rondeau and Donna (Grant) Banks of London.
Grandfather to Derek Hill (Stephanie), Justine Hill (Bill), Claire Banks, and Michael Banks.
Great grandfather of Jarret, Autumn, and Willow.
Survived by brother Bill (Shawna) Foster and predeceased by sister Beatrice Foster (2013).
Brother in law to June Buchanan, and Shirley Wilson, and predeceased by Charles Wilson, Jean Poehlman-Pelfrey (Keith) (Roy), and Ed Buchanan.
Dick will be remembered as an avid card player who loved to tell a good story.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday January 12, 2020 at the Charing Cross United Church from 2:00pm - 5:00pm.
