Obituary of Marion Krause

Krause: Marion Frances (nee Murphy) - A resident of Chatham, formerly Wallaceburg, Marion Krause (nee Murphy) passed away, with her daughter Karen by her side, at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at the age of 86. Born in Wallaceburg, Marion Krause was the daughter of the late Albert and Jenny (nee Murray) Murphy. Beloved wife of the late Alex Krause (2013). Loving mother of Michael, and his wife Charlene, Krause of LaSalle, and Karen Krause of Chatham. Grandmother of David, Sarah, Kaitlyn (Jake) and Julia. Predeceased by her twin sister, Rosemary Thomas (the late John Dewey), sister Annie Wilson (the late Melvin), brothers, Hugh White (the late Cecile), Bert Murphy, Ross Shaw. Survived by sister-in-law, Barb Murphy and brother-in-law, Waldy Krause (the late Marilynne). Missed by many nieces and nephews. Marion worked as a Night Auditor with the former Holiday Inn in Wallaceburg and alongside Alex with their rabbitry, Hillside Rabbitry, for many years. She enjoyed drawing house plans, and spending her time expressing her artistic abilities through drawing and painting. A Private Family Interment to take place in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.
