Obituary of Marianne Bechard-Ellis

BECHARD-ELLIS: Marianne Patricia (nee Buschemeyer) - A lifelong resident of Chatham, Marianne Bechard-Ellis passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Friday, February 14, 2020 at the age of 60. Born in Chatham, Marianne Bechard-Ellis was the daughter of Reginald and Lena (Freeman) Bushemeyer. Beloved wife of 35 years to Leland Ellis. Loving mother to Amber Ellis (Steve Haderer) of Chatham and Justin Ellis of Chatham. Proud Grandma to Daniel, Donna, Victoria, Lea, Shaun and Kelly. Dear sister to Brian Buschemeyer (Leatta) of Blenheim, Penny Yako (Terry) of Chatham and the late Wayne Buschemeyer (2002) (Elizabeth), the late Randy Buschemeyer (2005) (late Gloria), the late Steve Buschemeyer (2013) (Donna) and late Terry Buschemeyer (2019). Much loved niece to Nancy DeBeer (late Gus, 2013). Also missed by numerous nieces, nephews friends and extended family. Marianne will be remembered for her honesty and her kindness. She enjoyed playing video games with her children, reading murder mystery novels and knitting and crocheting. Family will receive friends at McKinlay Funeral Home on Monday, February 17, 2020 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm. Cremation to take place with a Graveside Service to be held for Marianne at 11:00am on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
