Obituary of Patrick Burton

BURTON: Patrick (Pat) With family by his side on Sunday, February 23rd, 2020, Pat Burton passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, at the age of 61.  Highschool sweetheart, husband, and best friend of the late Cindy Burton (nee Bedford). Son of Pat Burton Sr. and the late Leona Burton. Son-in-law of James A., and the late Beverly Bedford (nee Lipscombe). Cherished father of Trevor Burton, and Terri (Jordan) Towstiuc. Loving Grampa to Mia, Evan, Carson, and Landon. Brother of Linda (Pat) Moody, Paul (Tamara) Burton, Joe (Nancy) Burton, and Cathy Burton (Jay).  Brother-in-law of Carolann (Gerry) Passingham, Cathy (Jim) Mead, Jamie Bedford, and Chris (Kevin) Shaw.  Uncle and great-uncle of Steven (Natashia), Ryleigh, Kayleigh, Jeremy, Jessica, Zachary, Chloe, Mitchell, Aaron, Sarah, Trista, Lori (Mike), Braden, and Madisyn. In keeping with Pat’s wishes, a private family gathering will be held. Cremation to follow. Donations in Pat’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or VON Chatham Kent.
