Lawerence and Lois had been friends with Art and me for over 60 years. We have had so many good times together with us four couples, The Ashtons, The Wrights, The Pattersons, and The Longs. We went to dances, the show in Glencoe and then later we started getting married, having children and we still kept in touch. In later years we would meet for supper out and go back to someone's house and talk over old times and laugh until our sides hurt.
I am sorry that I cannot make the funeral as my rest home, Fiddicks in Petrolia, is under lockdown. I was looking forward to seeing all the family all grown up. My sympathy to all of you. Lois will be missed.
