Obituary of Murray Allan Roe

ROE: Murray Allan - It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Murray Allan Roe (age 90) at Copper Terrace Long Term Care Home, on March 26, 2020 with the love of his life, Margery, by his side. Murray was the loving husband of 69 years to Margery Ann (nee Holdaway). Murray is survived by five children. Carolyn Lancaster (Paul), John (Karen), Anne Campbell (Robert), Jim (Sonya), Jayne Roe (deceased 1960), and Jeffrey (Lisa). Murray had 12 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren who loved him dearly. Murray is also survived by brother Gary of Chatham. Son of Lila and Amos Roe. Murray farmed and was an insurance broker in the Merlin area until his retirement. He was an avid enthusiast of horse racing and enjoyed watching the family horses over the years. Cremation has taken place. There will be a private family burial in the Pardoville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
