Obituary of Sharon Nissen

NISSEN: Sharon (nee Fretz) - A resident of Chatham, Sharon (Dee-Dee) Nissen passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at the age of 46 after battling a chronic illness. Born in Chatham, Sharon was the daughter of the late Judith Fretz (2012) and her spouse Alexis Labadie. Loving mother of Aleksander Nissen and Holly Nissen, both of Chatham and friend (ex-wife) of Christopher Nissen of Chatham. Dear sister to Cindy Shulz (Kevin) of London and Loretta Caron (Brian) of Blenheim. Also missed by many friends, pets and extended family. Graduate of St. Clair College, Lab technician program (1996). Sharon was proud of her work at Dynacare and was devoted to a life of learning. She was a certified life coach and Reiki healer. She actively practiced her faith as a Theravadist Buddist. She spent her time in meditation by the water and taking photographs of nature. Cremation has taken place, with a celebration of life with family and friends to be held at a later date. Donations made in memory of Sharon to the Pet and Wildlife Rescue would be appreciated.
