Obituary of Terry Allen Reid

Reid: Terry Allen - A resident of Chatham, Terry Reid passed away suddenly at his residence on May 27, 2020 at the age of 68. Born in Chatham, Terry was the son of the late Charles and Jean (Smith) Reid. Beloved husband of 40 years to the late Luann Reid (nee Poissant) (2014). Loving father to Todd Reid of Dresden and Scott (Meghan) Reid of Chatham. Sister to Pamela (Brian) Brooks of Thorndale. Nephew to Jason and Robert Brooks. Sadly missed by many friends. Terry was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 28. He was a member of Wellington-Victory Lodge No. 46 A.F. & A.M., Wellington-McNabb Chapter No. 47, Royal Arch Masons, and Kent Preceptory No. 20, Knights Templar. He had 20 plus degrees in Engineering and was known for "Terry's Ditch" (the McGregor Creek Flood Control). Terry loved sailing and was a proud member of the Thamesview Yacht Club. Private family visitation will take place with cremation to follow and a celebration of life will take place at a future date.
