Attie en familie gecondoleerd!
Decennia geleden heb ik Marcel voor het laatst ontmoet!
Speciaal denk ik aan mijn jeugdjaren ( jaren vijftig ) dat ik ging logeren bij tante Thiele en Oom Leen. ( Oom Leen broer van mijn moeder Anna )
Met velen aldaar gespeeld en uiteraard ook met Marcel.
Het was er altijd heel prettig, daar aan de Lindeweg. Niet onvermeld wil ik laten, dat ik van mei 1961 tot november 1962 in Ridgetown heb gewoond, adres RR.1. ( nabij Klondike Road )
Door een Nederlandse Agrarische instelling was ik voor die periode uitgezonden naar Canada. Ik kwam daar vaak bij een Nederlands gezin. N.l. Jerry en Helen Bouw. Fantastische mensen, die familie Bouw.
Fijn dat ik in mijn jeugdjaren Marcel goed heb gekend!

It has been some time since I have seen Marcel and for that I am sorry.
At Christmas time I asked Leo how he was doing and he said about a few health
issues but was better.
Always enjoyed seeing Marcel in Rodney as he was so interested in everyone.

I couldn't take my eyes off the photo of Marcel. This is the picture for us all to hold in our hearts. Marcel is in the arms of Jesus; we poor morals have the task of mourning. It's our human condition; the cost of loving. But, our tears must be interspersed with laughter and stories, Marcel would insist on it.
