Obituary of Ronald Tetrault
TETRAULT: Ronald Charles -
A resident of Grande Pointe, Ron Tetrault passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, June 19, 2020 at the age of 64.
Born in Chatham, Ron was the son of Orville and the late Leona (Blondeel) Tetrault (2010) .
Beloved husband of over 20 years to Michele Howes.
Loving father of Jeremy Tetrault (Michelle), Matt Tetrault and the late Jessica Howes-Tetrault (2003).
Proud Papa to Dylan and Jocelynn Tetrault.
Cherished brother to Donald Tetrault (Ruth) of Chatham, David Tetrault (Diane Carey) of Grande Pointe, Annita Zimmerman (Michael Pecaric) of Chatham, Angie Wheeler (Barry Denomy) also of Chatham. Predeceased by his brother Douglas (1975).
Also missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Ron lived his life to the fullest.
When an opportunity arose, to go fishing, hunting or boating Ron took every step to seize the moment.
As an avid fisherman, Ron enjoyed to fish with friends and liked to brag about all the ones that got away!!!
Ron will especially be remembered for his cooking and barbequing of ribs and chicken and his famous spices but let us not forget his poutines.
Cooking for crowds was his true passion watching his friends and family eat and enjoy the food that was prepared for them, making sure everyone had enough to eat was his priority.
Ron's true pride came when his grandchildren were born, life then was fulfilled.
Cherishing every moment with his grandchildren taking them to South Buxton Racetrack every Saturday night throughout the summer was his opportunity to spoil them and gave him his fulfillment.
We certainly have lost a good man, and will be sadly missed, always remembered and cherished in our hearts.
