OWEN: Alea (Hornick) -
A lifelong resident of Chatham, Alea Owen passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at the age of 92.
Wife of the late William Owen.
Loving mother of sons Kirk Owen (Haroldeen), Brad Owen (Lori) and daughter Kathy Bechard (Joe).
Grandma to 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Sister-in-law to Dorothy Brown (Cliff) and the late Norm Owen (Jeanette).
Survived by several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her son Terry, grandson Matthew, great-granddaughter Cassidy Layne and sister Lois McEllistrum (late Doug).
Cremation has taken place with a private family interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery to follow.
Donations made in memory of Alea to the Sunshine Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
