Barnes: Beverley June (Holmes) -
A resident of Blenheim, Beverley Barnes passed away at the Blenheim Community Village on July 28, 2020 at the age of 94.
Born in London, Ontario Bev was the daughter of the late George and Minnie (Bond) Holmes.
Beloved wife to the late John Barnes (2003).
Survived by niece, Deb (Fred) Boersma of Chatham and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Sister in law to Rose (late Leroy) Brackett and Donna (late Jim Barnes, late Joe) Meyers.
Visitation will take place at McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park St, in Blenheim on Friday July 31, 2020 from 10:00 am to 11:00am with a funeral service to follow at 11:00am with legion Padre Bill Terris officiating. Those hoping to attend are required to register online at https://signup.com/go/CFyoAQo or phone the funeral home at 519-676-3451. The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has mandated that all those attending must wear a mask.
Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Donations made in memory of Beverley to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 185 or charity of choice would be appreciated.
