Obituary of Patrick Hennessey
HENNESSEY: Patrick Louis "Patty" -
A resident of Chatham and formerly of Exeter, Pat Hennessey passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Monday, August 24, 2020 at the age of 84.
Born in Exeter, Pat was the son of Leo and Viola (St. Thomas) Hennessey.
Loving father to Stephen Hennessey of London and Teri Hennessey of Highgate.
Brother to Jim Hennessey (Brenda) of Exeter. Predeceased by his brother Jack Hennessey (Margie) of Harrow and sister Jean Horton (Al) of Exeter.
Pat retired from his job in Parks and Recreation after over 25 years of service.
Pat loved to golf and following his retirement he could often be found at the former Countryview Golf Course. He enjoyed watching baseball and supporting the Blue Jays.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 10:00 am until the Memorial Service at 11:00am. Those planning to attend the visitation or service are required to register online at (https://signup.com/go/qLqoxyY) or phone the Funeral Home at 519-351-2040. The Bereavement Authority of Ontario have mandated that all attendees must wear a mask.
