Obituary of Paul Leroy Walker
WALKER: Paul Leroy -
A resident of Chatham, and formerly of Erieau, Paul Walker passed away at his home with family at his side on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at the age of 75.
Born in Port Dover, Paul was the son of the late Harold and Maxine (Johnson) Walker.
Beloved husband of 49 years to Patricia (nee Nesbitt).
Adored and loved beyond words by his daughter Tammy Walker of Sarnia and Melissa Walker and Marlena Gresty (Tom), both of Chatham.
Greatly missed Papa to Austin, Chloe, Leyna and Ellie.
Loving brother to the late Gary Walker (Betty). Survived by his sisters Bonnie Walker and Robin Pickering (Dave)
Brother-in-law to Betty Attewell (late Jim). Predeceased by his in-laws Frank Nesbitt (Lucy), Ed Nesbitt, Della Dale (Bill), Vicky Bowskill and Susan DeLaet.
He will be missed by his furry companion Cody aka "Charlie". Will be also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Paul was born in Port Dover where his love of the lake began. He worked as a young teenage boy on the Lakers. Later in life Paul worked many years at Eaton Yale. No matter where the road to life took him, it was sure to be accompanied with friendship and laughter. He knew how to take a joke and how to deliver one... although not at the most appropriate time.
Paul had a huge heart and loved nothing more than being with his family. He also was a huge fan of wrestling, listening to the oldies and watching hockey. His favourite team was the Montreal Canadians.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Friday, August 28, 2020 from 6:00 pm until the Celebration of his Life at 8:00 pm. Cremation to follow.
