Van Megroot: Gwendoline Jean (Burr) -
A resident of Chatham, Gwen Van Megroot passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on September 7, 2020 at the age of 91.
Born in London, Gwen was the daughter of the late Charles and Maude (Hill) Burr.
Beloved wife of 35 years to the late "Van" Albert George Van Megroot (1987).
Predeceased by brother Gerald (Pat) Burr, and survived by sister in law Evelyn King of Alberta.
Special Aunt to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Sadly missed by many cousins and close friends.
Gwen loved to travel and enjoyed the slots in Vegas and many other casinos that she could find.
As per her wishes, Cremation has taken place with a private family interment at a later date.
Donations made in memory of Gwen to the Pet and Wildlife Rescue of Chatham-Kent or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
