A resident of Chatham, John Franklin passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance - Chatham on Friday, September 25, 2020 at the age of 73.
Born on March 30, 1947, he was the son of the late Harry & Alice (nee Mayville) Franklin.
Dearly missed by his loving wife of 51 beautiful years, Deborah (nee LaCombe), daughter, Stacey Franklin (Dennis Becker) and son, John Franklin Jr (Helen).

Brother of the late Jim Carey (Joyce), the late Lorraine Sinasac (Bob), and the late Judy Welk (the late Allan).
Son-in-law of the late Charles LaCombe (the late Betty) and the late Rachel Whitney (the late Bob).
Brother-in-law of Charlene Formagin (Larry), Brenda Smith (Len) and the late Charles LaCombe (Marion).
He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
John retired after many years as a Chief Engineer with the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (formerly Public General Hospital). He enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter and his family. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
As per John's wishes, cremation has taken place.
