ILLMAN: Donald "Don" James -
A resident of Chatham, Don Illman passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at the age of 94.
Born and raised in Chatham, Don was the son of the late Alex and Alice (Irwin) Illman.
Beloved husband of 71 years to Margaret (nee Grose).
Loving and devoted father to Doug Illman, Bob Illman (Kitty), Gord Illman (Gail Webb-Illman) and Barb Capeling (Kevin).
Proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Don was the last surviving member of his family. Predeceased by his brothers Bill, F.O. Jack. and Garth.
Greatly missed by friends and extended family.
Don was an Elder and Choir Member of the First Presbyterian Church of Chatham and had been a member of the "Barbershoppers".
A Private Family Service will be Live Streamed at 1:00pm on Friday, October 2, 2020 on the Funeral Home website.
Donations made in memory of Don to the First Presbyterian Church Building Fund or Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
