Grey, Beryl (nee Carr)

Beryl Grey, 81, passed away after a short but courageous fight with cancer on December 23, 2020 with her husband Wayne and children Darren and Kim at her side. 

She is predeceased by her parents Francis Carr (1970), Beryl (nee Jewell) Carr (2004), sister Mary Ann (1981), brothers Dan (1997), Bob (2009) and Bud (2010). 

Dear sister to Barb Logan (Jack) and Bill Carr (Pat). 

Loving Grandmother to Regan, Spencer, Nathan, Cody, Ben and Brady. 

Mother-in-law to Dorian & Paul.

Beryl was born in Windsor Ontario 81 years ago and although her parents had plans for her, that all changed when she was swept off her feet by the love of her life and whisked away to elope. 

Our wife and mother was a kind and caring person, always worrying about how everyone else was doing around her and never wanting the attention herself. She was a feisty lady just like her mom and her energy and sense of humour were infectious. 

We know that right now she is getting reacquainted with all the friends and family that passed before her which means it’s pretty noisy in heaven because when the Carr family got together it was always a party.

As a wife, you were dad’s best friend. As a mother, you instilled the best qualities in your children and as a grandma you showed them the love that comes from being a selfless human being. We will miss you dearly but know that you are always watching over us.

As per Beryl's wishes, cremation has taken place with a Private Family Service at a later date.
