Obituary of Morley Tunks
TUNKS, Morley Roscoe...
After a long battle with Alzheimer's, we sadly announce the passing of our dear father, Morley Roscoe Tunks, beloved husband for 69 years of Meryl (predeceased 2017) at age 93.
Father of Paul Tunks (Monica) and Carol Revell (John).
Grandfather to Jeffrey Tunks (Crissy), Jennifer Rock (Terrence), Joel Verkaik (Isabelle) and Sara Miles (Will).
Great grandfather to George, Ryan, Zeddy, Kayden, Liam and Jack.
He is survived by his sister Evelyn Lancaster and predeceased by Melvin, Jerry and Beryl.
Morley was a skilled plasterer, and prior to retiring, worked in trades at Southwest Regional Centre where 'Mr. Morley' was often seen traveling through the halls on his bicycle. He enjoyed family and neighbours and was loved by all.
Thank you to the dedicated staff at Meadow Park Nursing Home for their compassionate care.
Due to COVID-19, there will be a private family interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Donations in memory of Morley may be made to a charity of your choice.
