Elsie started at Wheels doing housekeeping, before moving up to working maintenance. She continued on in her career by doing housekeeping at the hospital, as well as at home for her children. Later in life, Elsie really enjoyed camping with Richard and their family. Sunday nights were weekly sister get togethers, where her and her sisters played card and dice games for hours. She had a smile that could light up a room and loved spending every moment she could with her grandchildren. She was the matriarch of the family and her presence will be sorely missed.

Due to COVID-19, a private family visiting will take place at McKinlay Funeral Home, Chatham at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
