Obituary of Irene Alphonsine Caron
Caron: Irene Alphonsine (nee Vandenberghe) -
We are sad to announce the passing of Irene Caron at the Blenheim Community Village on March 2, 2021 at the age of 93.
Born in Petrolia, Irene was the daughter of the late Felix and Maria (nee Morjean) Vandenberghe.
She was the devoted wife of Maurice Caron. They celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary on April 18th 2020.
Loving mother to Nancy (Ray) Labadie, David (Mary Ann) Caron, Brenda (Dave) Klages, Randy (Barb) Caron, Rick (Pat) Caron, Brian (Loretta) Caron, Sandy (Ron) Russell and predeceased by daughter Dianne (Bill) Jenkins.
Irene had 23 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
Sister to Germaine Raaymakers and the late Basil Vandenberghe.
Visitation will take place at McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park St, in Blenheim on Friday March 5, 2021 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. A private family funeral service will take place at the funeral home with Tim Raaymakers officiating on Saturday with an interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The service will be live-streamed at 11:00am by CLICKING HERE. Online condolences and donations may be made from the website as well. Donations made in memory of Irene to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
