Obituary of Stephen Frederick Price
Price - Stephen Frederick
It is with sadness and heavy hearts that John & Grace (Vleeming) Price announce the passing of their second son and the third of their five children, Stephen Frederick Price, who was called home to be with the Lord on the morning of Monday, May 24, 2021.
Born in Chatham, February 24, 1989, Steve grew up in Rondeau Park, and in recent years, Morpeth and Chatham. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved the great outdoors, and had a strong work ethic, being employed in construction with his friends at JP Contracting in Chatham.
Stephen will be greatly missed by his partner Danielle Diana Turato-Belland and her children Olivia, Ben & Oliver of Chatham. Stephen was filled with joy and excitement knowing he was becoming a father towards the end of this year. He had big plans of proposing to Danielle and looked forward to building their life together. Steve was also close to the Lord and had recently started doing regular daily prayers with the three children as he really wanted to be a great example of a dad to them.
Stephen leaves behind his dear canine companion Diesel, a five year old shepherd-husky mix who was like a son to him. Stephen and Diesel never tired of walks together on the beach and through the woods.
Stephen was a dear brother and uncle. He will be greatly missed by Aaron and Ashley (Price) Roffel of Newton Upper Falls, Massachusetts, Matthew Price of Chatham, Brian Price of Rondeau Park and Annie Sampilo of Kitchener and Michael and Hannah (Sluys) Price of Chatham.
Sadly missed by three nephews Ashton, Alexander, and Andrew Roffel, and one niece, Abigail Roffel.
Predeceased by his grandparents Jan and Anne Vleeming (Garssen), Fredrick and Stella Price (Gurney) and his niece Anna Roffel.
Stephen will be missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many faithful friends.
Visitation will take place at McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park St. in Blenheim on Sunday May 30, 2021 from 2:00pm - 5:00pm and Monday May 31 from 1:00pm - 5:00pm and 6:00pm - 9:00pm. Isaiah 40: 29-31
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
