Obituary of Theresa Marion Beecroft

Beecroft, Theresa 'Terry' Marion - 

A resident of Chatham, Theresa Beecroft passed away at the  Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Sunday, June 20, 2021  at the age of 92. 

Born in Belle River, Theresa was the daughter of the late Frank and Lillian (nee May) Mullins. 

Beloved wife of 36 years to the late Thomas (Lee) Beecroft (2020) and Rene (Leo) Mailloux (1977).  

Loving mother to the late Barb Bechard (2014) (late Wayne, 2019), Mark Mailloux (Fatima) of London, Mary Mailloux of Chatham, Beverly Lange (Mark) of Stratford, Darlene Jackson of Chatham and Kelly Siddall (Jeff) of Bothwell.

Stepmother to Michelle Van Hyfte (Wayne) of Chatham, Mark Beecroft (Lisa) of Tecumseh and Michael Beecroft of Windsor.

Sister to Raymond Mullins (Lynn) and predeceased by Russell Mullins, Rita Marchand (Norm), Mildred Chevrier (Chuck), Dennis Mullins, and Ruth Benoit (Eddie).

Sister-in-law to Neil Beecroft (Joyce) of Fort Myers, Florida and Patricia Wright (Don) of Thamesville.

Proud Grandma to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Also missed by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. 

Theresa will be remembered for compassionate, caring nature, and service with the Red Cross and volunteer work at the Chatham Retirement Resort.  She took great pride in her family and grandchildren who in return brought great joy to her.

A private visitation and service will take place at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St. in Chatham with a burial to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery.
