A resident of Ridgetown, Gerald Grant suddenly passed away in a motorcycle accident on July 3, 2021 at the age of 71.
Born in Chatham, Gerald was the son of Doris and the late Alvin Grant.
Beloved husband of 26 years to Patricia Grant (nee McClung).
Loving father to Gary (Dawn) Grant, Gordie Grant (Audrey Lozon), and step-father, 'rent a kid' to Tari Barnes (Mike Ash), Chad Barnes, and Kelly Barnes.
Gramps/Papa/Grandpa to Lauren Grant (David Mason), Garren Grant (Jennifer Fehr), Brooke Grant, Morgan Grant, Darcy Grant, Jacob Glassford, Chandler Glassford, Jillian Barnes (Jeff Williams), Megan Barnes, and Owen Barnes-Desjardins.
Brother to the late Elaine Grant.
Brother in law to many. Sadly missed by nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Gerald will be remembered for his love of his family, dry sense of humour, and his love of the open road on the highways.
Cremation has taken place and a private family burial will take place at Gosnell Cemetery.
Donations made in memory of Gerald to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
