Obituary of Eileen Maisie LePatourel
LePatourel: Eileen Maisie (Webster) -
A resident of Thamesville, Eileen peacefully passed away at home on the farm as per her wishes on July 14, 2021 at the age of 93.
Born in Dawn Township Eileen was the daughter of the late Stan and Evelyn Webster.
Beloved wife of almost 50 years to the late James LePatourel (1996).
Loving mother to David (Ruthann) LePatourel, late Richard LePatourel, Kathy LePatourel (Greg Grison), and Linda LePatourel.
Grandmother to Billy, Shawn, Jeff, and Claire.
Great grandmother to Adam, Caitlin, Quintin, Kegan and the late infant Chloe.
Sister to Vivian (late Ormond) Farnsworth, Darlene (late Archie) Lather, and predeceased by Hazel, Vaughan, Edward, and Robert.
Sister in law to Janie Webster.
Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Special thanks to niece Mary Gronberg for her care and compassion during the good and bad times.
Eileen will be remembered for her card playing skills, her plentiful vegetable gardens, being a life member of the Women's Institute, and for her sense of humour.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be held on Sunday July 18th, 2021 at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St. in Chatham from 1:00pm to 2:00pm with a service to follow at 2:00pm with Deacon Elaine Wilcox officiating. Everyone will be welcomed outside at the family farm following the service for a time of fellowship, shared memories and fun. A private family interment will take place at Maple Leaf Cemetery at a later date.
