Obituary of Alan Gillard
Suddenly, as a result of a workplace incident, in Chatham, Ontario, on July 22nd, 2021, J. Alan Gillard passed away in his 61st year.
Beloved son of the late James (1995) and Jeanne Gillard (nee Depuydt). Cherished dad of Gordon Gillard and Alex Freele-Gillard (Monica Freele).
Dear brother of Laura Woolley (Brian), and Chris Gillard (Cheryl Chinnick).
Al will be missed by his special friend, Ruth Burdick.
He will be fondly remembered by his extended family and many friends.
Al was a Master Electrician, and a member of the Ridgetown Kiwanis Club.
Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown, on Monday, July 26th, 2021 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm, where a Private Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday morning at 11am. Interment to follow in Palmyra Cemetery.

The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has mandated that all in attendance must wear a mask.
