Obituary of Walton Hahn
HAHN: Walton Elmer Raymond -
A resident of Tilbury, and formerly of St. Catharines, Walton Hahn passed away at the Erie Shores Hospice in Leamington with his family at his side on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at the age of 88.
Born in Millbank, Walton was the son of the late Wilfred and Florence (Schneider) Hahn.
Beloved husband of 49 years to the late Leona (nee Isaac) (2017).
Cherished father to David Hahn (Carol), Andrew Hahn (Celeste), Elaine Kuehl (Scott), Blayne Campbell and Michael Hahn (Tracy).
Proud Opa to Kate, Matt (Porsche), Kelby (David), Madison (Noah), Morgan (Taylor), Alexis, Logan; Heather, Mark (Baylee), Emily (Joseph), Sammie, Devon (Hannah), Gabbie, CarlyAnn, Marsha, Chance; Sam, Erin; Abbey and Brenna.
Great-Opa to Lucas, Liam, Brinnlee, Brooklyn, Brave and one more great-grandson due in October; Dakota, Ellany, Summer, Harrison and Hadleigh.
Dear brother to Shirley (late Don), the late Elgin (Gisela), Ken (Lorna), Rosemary and Donny (Evelyn).
Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Walton loved life on the farm and retired after over 50 years of service. Walton's greatest love was his wife Leona. They approached life as a team, going so far as to match outfits regularly. They were in business together and they fostered children together for over 40 years. He was immensely proud of his children and many grandchildren.
Family will receive friends at Maple City Baptist Church, 500 Indian Creek Road West, Chatham on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 11:00 am until the Funeral Service at 1:00pm with Pastor Rick Dressler officiating. The Service will be Live Streamed BY CLICKING HERE.
A Graveside Service will be held at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery, 1483 Lakeshore Road, on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 1:00pm.
Donations made in memory of Walton to the Maple City Baptist - Building Fund or Compassion Canada would be appreciated.
