Clarke, Murray Richard 'Ric'-
A resident of Chatham, Ric Clarke peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his family on Sunday August 15, 2021 at the age of 77.
Beloved husband of 55 years to Barbara Clarke (nee Campbell).
Loving father to Jennifer and Julie Clarke.
Brother to Bonnie (late Cyril) Crevits and predeceased by Don Clarke, Gary Clarke, and Darlene Johnston.
Sadly missed by nieces and nephews.
Ric was the strength and support to his family and was the gentle giant they called 'Roar'. He was the former Assessment Commissioner for Grey Bruce. He had a gentle calming nature who had many friends, loved to tell a good joke, and had a great love of animals.
Special thank you to Dr. Don Hasting for all his care, support and kindness.
Cremation has taken place an a private family burial will take place at Maple Leaf Cemetery at a later date.
Donations made in memory of Ric to the Institute of Municipal Assessors Scholarship Fund, PAWR or the CK Animal Rescue would be appreciated.
