Brian DeBacker, a resident of Chatham, passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on September 26, 2021 on his 69th birthday.
He was born in Chatham to the late Kenneth and Eileen (McLean) DeBacker.
Beloved husband of 48 years to his high school sweetheart, Maureen (nee Kelly) DeBacker.
Loving father to Shannon DeBacker and Kristen (Jeff) Pillon.
Adoring Poppa to Cameron, Emily, Alexis, and Sophie.
Loving brother to Brenda (late Dennis) McCord.
Brother in law to Michael Kelly.
Loving uncle to Kevin, Kent, Kerry, Robin, and Stephanie.
Brian will be remembered for his love and dedication to his family and especially spoiling his kids and grandkids. After a long career at Siemens, he has greatly enjoyed his retirement with Maureen. He loved golfing with his gang and watching many a hockey game. His generous spirit and kind heart will never be forgotten.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held with a celebration of life at a later date.
For those wishing to donate in Brian's memory, he was an avid supporter for Outreach For Hunger.
