Obituary of Lia Stylianou
STYLIANOU: Lia
Heaven gained a special ANGEL when Lia Stylianou passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at the age of 49 at Windsor Regional Hospital.
Born in London, England, Lia was the daughter of Elli and the late Christos Georgeou.
Lia met Koul at a wedding in England, where Lia had said: "Look, another typical f@#ing Greek". Little did either of them know, their lives changed forever for the better. Lia soon made the journey to Canada and married Koul September 18, 1993. Not long after they welcomed two beautiful sons into their life, Soteris in 1994 and Christos in 1997.
Soteris met Kayla and together they blessed Lia with three beautiful grandchildren, Brooklyn, Samuel and Nikos, who Lia was proud of and was always the best Yiayia. Lia was always a lady and always filled with love, laughter and generosity. She always put everyone else before herself and made their lives better in doing so.
Dear sister to Georgia Georgeou, Maria Georgeou (Peter) and Harry Kostas, all of England.
Daughter-in-law to Soteris and Maria Stylianou.
Lovingly and forever missed by dear best friends Ron & Pam Zuidema and Nick & Nancy Kamarlingos and families and Rocky & Sherri.
Also missed by many friends and extended family in Canada, England and Cyprus.
