It is with our heavy hearts that we announce Marsha Loretta (Briggs) Kelley-Hall, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 10th, 2021, surrounded with the love from her family at the age of 72.
Marsha will be forever missed by her loving husband Doug Hall and fur baby Sophie. Devoted mother to William-Michael Kelley (Ann Marie), Ronnette Carrière (Sylvain) and Shawn Kelley (Julie).
Proud and doting grandma to Kenedie (Stephen) Haines, Alexandre Carrière, Geneviève Carrière (Cody), Savanna Kelley (James), Hayden Kelley (Marenna), Zachary Kelley (Cheryl), Asher Wygiera and Micheala Kelley.
Great grandma to Addison and Isabella Haines.
Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Dear sister to Donna (David) Johannes of Ransomville, New York and brother-in-law Carl Allen of Cuba, New York. Best friend and soul sister to Janice (Bill) Johnson.
Missed by her stepchildren Randy (Jolene) Hall and Donna Hall.
Marsha will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, lifelong friends, and extended family.
Cherished friend of Darlene Abbott.
Welcomed into Heaven by her parents Vivian (Rockey) and Kenneth Briggs, her sister Grace Allen and her granddaughter Anyssa Kelley.
Marsha enjoyed baking, gardening, watching Sunday football cheering on her favourite team the Buffalo Bills, NASCAR and most importantly spending time with her family. She was dedicated to her faith. In the late 60’s Marsha owned and operated a hair salon in Niagara Falls, New York. In 1970 she moved to Chatham, Ontario to which she called her forever home.
Marsha drove a school bus and later worked for Things Engraved as a manager for many years. In her final years, she returned to drive a school bus for First Student and was looking forward to retirement.
Marsha was very well known for her peanut butter pies, chocolate chip cheesecake and delicious holiday treats. She will be remembered for her loving, kind, generous and positive spirit.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 11:30am - 1:00pm. Those planning to attend are required to register online at (https://signup.com/go/FveEKsS) or by phoning the Funeral Home. The Bereavement Authority of Ontario have mandated that all attendees wear a mask. A Private Family Service will be available by live-stream at by CLICKING HERE. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. All are welcome to attend the service at the cemetery. Mom, Mother, Gam Gam, GG, Sister, Aunt, Marsha you will be missed beyond words. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation in memory of Marsha.
