Obituary of Saundra Ashby
With her daughters by her side, Saundra Ashby (nee Taylor) passed away on November 7, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Charles Ashby (2009). Loving mother to April and Michelle. Loving grandma of Taylor (Bryan), Owen and Makenzi. Survived by brothers; Robert Taylor (Janet), Richard Taylor (Carol), Wayne Taylor (Shirley) and sisters-in-law Sandy Stead (Gary) and Betty Lindsay. Remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Predeceased by her parents Robert and Lola Taylor and sister Nancy (1983) and Doug Praill (2019).
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 3:30 pm. - 7 p.m. at McKinlay Funeral Home 459 St. Clair Street. Chatham, ON. The funeral service will be November 10, 2021 at 11 a.m. A private burial at Maple Leaf cemetery. Those wishing to attend visitation or the funeral service must be pre-registered which can be done on the funeral home website or by calling the funeral home at 519-351-2040. Please note the Bereavement Authority of Ontario requires all those in attendance of a visitation or funeral must wear a mask.
