Obituary of Vivian Chambers
CHAMBERS: Vivian (nee Wood) -
A resident of Chatham, Vivian Chambers passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side on Monday, November 8, 2021 at the age of 66.
Born in Chatham, Vivian was the daughter of the late Jack and Doris (Anakin) Wood.
Childhood sweetheart and beloved wife of 49 years on December 1st to Rob Chambers.
Loving mother of Tina Stefina (John), Steven Chambers (Kristi) and Colleen Scott (Steve).
Proud Grandma to Michael Stefina, Logan Stefina, McKenna Chambers, Peyton Chambers, Sylvie Chambers, Rya Weber and Reese Weber.
Dear sister to Nancy Wiseman (late Dennis) of Belle River, the late Jack Wood of Windsor, Bob Wood (Shirley) of Chatham, Les Wood (Kay) of Erie Beach and the late Carol White (late Ken) of Chatham.
Also missed by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Vivian loved to bake, having worked as a baker at Zehr's and Superstore for over 20 years, and baking for family and friends. Later in life, when they moved to the farm, Rob and Viv started R and V Vegetables, a family business they owned and operated together for 26 years.
Vivian enjoyed working on puzzles, crocheting, researching family history and tending the farm with Rob.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 6:00 - 9:00pm. The Bereavement Authority of Ontario have mandated that all attendees wear a mask.
Those planning to attend are required to register online or by phoning the Funeral Home.
Donations made in memory of Vivian to the Salvation Army (Food Bank) would be appreciated.
