Burchiel: Noreen (nee Gillett)
A resident of Chatham, Noreen Burchiel has found her place with God and reunited with her husband John on December 5, 2021 at the age of 73.
Born in Chatham, Noreen was the daughter of the late Robert and Nora Gillett.
Beloved wife of the late Ernest 'John' Wayne Burchiel (2011).
Dear mother to Bridie Tolman of Bolton, Kimberley Burchiel of Toronto, Ryan (Jill) Burchiel of Essex and Katie Burchiel of Chatham. Proud grandmother to Kylar, Erin, Kaedon, Emma and Loghan.
Dear sister to Dorothy Bielby (Tom), and Wayne Gillett ( Jeannine). Sister-in-law to Lynda Gillett and Jane Gillett. Predeceased by her brother's Jack (J.R.) Gillett , Denis Gillett.
Noreen will also be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews as well as her fur babies- Daisy, Simon and Chloe.
Noreen although retired, she enjoyed her time working at the Superstore where she made many new friends and loved interacting with the customers. She enjoyed many adventures with her best friends. Noreen's whole world was her kids and grandkids.
In keeping with Noreen's wishes cremation has taken place.
Family and friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St. Chatham on Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.The Bereavement Authority of Ontario have mandated that all attendees wear a mask. Those hoping to attend the visitation are asked to register online at https://signup.com/go/aZegBRy (or by phoning the Funeral Home). A live-stream of the service will be take place at 11:00am and a link will be available on this site the day of the service. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
A private family service will be held in the Funeral Home on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery.

Donations made in memory of Noreen to the Breast Cancer Foundation or the St. John's Ambulance Therapy Dogs would be appreciated by the family.
