I was so sad to hear the news of my dear Auntie Jayne's passing. I will miss her. She was a special lady who holds such a special place in my heart, front and centre of my earliest childhood memories, loving me like her own, as I grew up next door on Windsor Drive. We were not related, but neighbours, and dear friends of my parents who held the significant title of Auntie Jayne & Uncle Jim. I remember a bit of silliness had in my backyard pool ;) and I recall so many times we gathered in their kitchen, often with Duker Dog by my side, served an icy cold Coke, or a Coke Float, making me feel special and so grow up :).....to this day, Coke fizz makes me smile, remembering my Auntie Jayne & Uncle Jim. My Auntie Jayne was there through the years for important celebrations in life including my university graduation and my wedding. And more recently, we re-connected on FaceBook, where we could share stories, memories and photos and "chat" once in a while. I am so incredibly grateful for that! I saw her as a strong person, supporting others, interested, loyal, kind and loving, but spoke her mind and had a great sense of humour; character to admire. She seemed to never age, with a beautiful smile and an infectious giggle I will never forget. To her family - my sincere condolences to you. Hold tight to the good, celebrate her long life, and let the years together with her, and the many happy memories bring you comfort, and bring more smiles and laughter than tears - I think that is what she would want.

Jill - I don't know where to start... I have loved your Mom like my own since we were little girls. She guided us, advised us, shared her wisdom, and cracked the whip when we got out of line. Mostly though she always welcomed me, no matter how much time had passed since last seeing each other.
To Bill, Greg, Gregger, Renee, Sheldon, Karen, Nicole, Merrilee, and all extended family and friends, the Memories you have built together over the years will help you grieve and give you strength when you visit them. In these past few days, several memories of my own have come to mind and all I can do is smile to myself and be grateful that Jayne played such an important role in my life.
I pray that God brings all of you peace and comfort.

My prayers are with you all on the loss of my very special friend Jayne - we have shared so many good times at work and after we retired. We met almost every Wednesday at the market and went for lunch after. Celebrated birthdays, Christmas and any other special occasions that came up. She was a part of our very special groups of friends and retirees- we will miss her dearly. I will miss her very much and value all the good times we had. Hugs to all.
