Hooper: Jeff Russel "Hoop"-
A lifelong resident of Ridgetown, Jeff Hooper passed away peacefully at home with family at his side on Monday, January 3, 2022 at the age of 43.
Born in Chatham, Jeff Hooper was the son of Russ Hooper and Donna Galbraith.
Beloved husband of seven years to Kay (nee Lee).
Loving father of Bayley, Selina (fiance Jack), Blake and Bella.
Proud Grandpa to Leo and Weston.
Dear brother to Jennifer, Melanie, Jackie, Tina, Jill and Emma.
Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and in-laws.
Predeceased by his uncle Gerald Hooper and grandparents George and Doris (nee Stewart) Hooper.
Jeff had the gift of the gab, loved to be around people and was always the life of the party. He was passionate about farming and the tire business, and would accomplish anything he set his mind to. Jeff had a love for hockey, both playing and watching it. He was a die-hard Maple Leaf fan.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 2:00 - 5:00pm and 7:00 - 9:00pm. Those planning to attend are required to register online at (https://signup.com/go/kJTwwrV) or by phoning the Funeral Home. The Bereavement Authority of Ontario have mandated that all attendees wear a mask. Proof of vaccination will be required to attend the visitation.
A Private Family Service will be live-streamed at 11:00am on Friday, January 7, 2022 on the Funeral Home website. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown.
Donations made in memory of Jeff to YMCA Chatham-Kent in support of youth sports and supports would be appreciated.
