MORRIS: Kitt -
A resident of Chatham, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at the age of 77. Born in Chatham, son of the late James and Violet (Bushey) Morris.
Beloved husband to Carol Morris (nee Carroll) of Chatham.
Loving father of Mike Morris (Paula), Nikki Morris, Aron McGaffey (Jackie) and Lana Charron (Rick).
Missed by grandchildren, Shayna (Brandon), Shauni (Kyle), Trisha (Jeremiah), Michael (Katie), Beth (Mark), Jay (Debora), Ashley (Shane) the late Eric, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Dear brother to the late Butch Morris. Brother-in-law to Margo Morris, Betty McPeek (John), Janet Marchand, Denis Carroll (Deb), Brian Carroll (and extended families).
Kitt is rejoicing with his Lord, Jesus Christ. He was an active member at Evangel Community Church for over 30 years. He was the inspiration behind the original Kitt's Kids in Indonesia, which grew to be Children of Hope.
Kitt was the founder of Kitt's Auto Electric in Chatham.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 10:00am until 1:30pm. Those planning to attend are required to register online at (https://signup.com/go/FBrDxrr) or by phoning the Funeral Home. The Bereavement Authority of Ontario have mandated that all attendees wear a mask. A Private Family Service will be Live-Streamed at 2:00pm on the Funeral Home website.
In lieu of flowers, donations towards Kitt and Carol's passion, Children of Hope c/o loadsoflove.ca would be appreciated.
