Obituary of Harriett Reekie
REEKIE: Harriett Sue (nee Hamilton) -
A resident of Chatham, and formerly of Blenheim, Harriett Reekie passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the age of 74.
Loving partner and better half to Ron Rumble.
Predeceased by her children Amy Lynne (1969), Elizabeth Anne (1997) and K.C. Reekie (2016).
She will be dearly missed her granddaughter Brittany Cunningham.
Dear sister to David Hamilton (Loretta Hope).
Also missed by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Harriett enjoyed knitting for the Goodfellows, having knitted over 190 pairs of mittens over the past two years and making quilts for the less fortunate through Loads of Love.
As per Harriett's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration will be held in May.
Donations made in memory of Harriett to Loads of Love would be appreciated.
